北海道大学では，学部・研究院にかかわらず在籍するすべての学部生・大学院生が，考古調査士資格認定機構が認定する「考古調査士（１級，２級）」の資格を取得することができます。この資格は，在学中に必要な単位を修得したうえで，卒業・修了時に自ら機構に申請することにより認定されます。詳しくは，下記の機構ウェブサイトと資格取得ガイダンスの配布資料をご覧ください。
In Hokkaido University, every student and grad student can obtain the qualification of Archaeological Researcher (Koukochousashi) authenticated by Japanese Association Board for Archaeological Researcher. Application for this qualification is required just before the graduation after you took all necessary credits.
